We are delighted to be running a short day workshop in how to make a basic glaze and how to alter the base glaze using a line blend.
With helpful and practical advice the workshop will help you to understand glaze , with a short talk to introduce what is in a basic glaze, and what the different ingredients do. This is followed by a practical session.
You will pick a base and then add an oxide of your choice in varying degrees to achieve a range of different coloured glazes.
You will need to bring 8 test tiles
All the glaze tests will be fired and return to you.
